Zachary James Martinez
is a cinematographer and photographer based out of Houston, TX. His first loves were classic rock, surfing, and skateboarding; eventually giving way to theology, photography, writing, and cinematic storytelling as he got older. He spent his first 5 years out of college organizing and building communities within immigrant and low-income student circles as a youth minister – organizations which still stand to this day.
No matter what his full-time occupation, he has always found ways to incorporate his creative gifts, resulting in a portfolio featuring short films, music videos, international documentaries, as well as promotional material. Having now moved into full-time video production, he is interested in any opportunity to step into greater, wider circles of collaborators looking to make something true and beautiful.
